Automotive Molding at OEM Standards
Automotive programs run for years, accept zero drift, and live or die on PPAP. We mold structural components, under-hood functional parts, and Class-A interior trim near Chicago on a press lineup that spans 35 to 1,100 tons — the same range that lets one supplier produce a small wire-harness clip and a structural cowl with the same process discipline behind both.
Our quality system was built for documented, repeatable production from the start. Capability studies, control plans, PFMEAs, and First Article Inspections live alongside the work order — not assembled retroactively when a customer auditor shows up. For programs flowing requirements down from Tier 1s or OEMs, we produce PPAP-style submission packages to the level required and maintain them through ECNs as the program evolves.

Capabilities
Molding Capabilities
- Press lineup 35–1,100 tons covering small clips, brackets, and large structural parts
- Engineering and glass-filled resins (PA, PBT, PP, TPO, ABS, PC/ABS) for under-hood thermal and chemical exposure
- Class-A cosmetic surfaces for interior trim and visible components
- Insert molding for metal-in-plastic brackets, fasteners, and threaded inserts
- Scientific molding with validated, decoupled processes
- PPAP-style submission support: capability studies, FAI, control plans, PFMEA, MSA
- Long-term production stability with documented process windows and tool maintenance discipline
PPAP Without the Surprises
Most molders can produce a PPAP package once. Fewer can maintain it across a multi-year program where parts, suppliers, and process windows all shift over time. We build the documentation alongside the part — capability studies tied to specific tool cavities, control plans that drive in-process inspection, PFMEAs that get updated when the process changes — so when a customer audits a serial number from two years ago, we pull the lot, the process record, and the inspection data without scrambling.
Tell us the PPAP level required and the customer-specific submission template at quote. We will build the package to that template, including the customer's own AIAG-aligned forms, instead of submitting a generic package that gets kicked back.
Under-Hood and Interior Trim Under One Roof
Under-hood parts and Class-A interior trim usually live with different suppliers because the materials, tooling, and inspection criteria are different. We run both. Under-hood means glass- and mineral-filled engineering resins, processing windows tuned for dimensional stability at heat, and inspection criteria written for functional fit. Interior trim means cosmetic surfaces, tight color and gloss control, and inspection criteria written for what a customer sees in showroom light. Same quality system, same scientific molding discipline, two completely different mindsets — and one PO instead of two.
